Disc Problems

 Are You Experiencing Disc Problems?

If you’re experiencing pain in your back, whether it’s light or very extreme, it could be a disc problem.  Normally the pain can be excruciating, while every movement only seems to make it worse.  The pain you are enduring in your back is a warning sign that you should take care of. Fortunately there are proper steps to take care of this problem and ease the pain.

A spinal disk is a robbery pad between the vertebrae (the bones that make up the spinal column.) These disks are circular, flat capsules that are about 1 inch in diameter and 1/4th an inch thick. Think of the disk as a “shock absorber” for your spine.

 Solution

Depending on the level of pain your experiencing, you may or may not be able to keep up regular activities. It’s important to monitor the pain and see a doctor if it gets worse. Some treatments include heat treatment, regular therapeutic massage, and a proper exercise schedule designed to help improve your flexibility.

A chiropractor can give you a proper evaluation and treatment including adjustments and massages to not only help relieve the pain, but correct the problem as well.  If you’re uncertain about a chiropractor being able to help, it’s important to at least get checked to avoid further complications. That’s exactly why we offer a free evaluation to ensure you get taken care of. Try giving us a call to schedule an appointment.
